Hola de Costa Rica! I'm Kristi Drexler, the NMSU Faculty-Led International Programs (FLiP) course coordinator for Dr. Spencer's Herrera's class! I'm already here in Heredia, Costa Rica and we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Dr. Herrara's class later today. Justin, our coordinator/guide for our host CPI-Costa Rica, is EXCELLENT. We can't wait to start the class! The people of Costa Rica - Ticos - are warm and hospitable - just like the beautiful landscape.
For you friends and family at home in Las Cruces and El Paso, we'll be posting updates and photos daily - so please check this blog often and follow along with us on the course! Check out the map below: we're staying in Heredia first, then Monteverde, then Manuel Antonio, and we finish back in Heredia for our last night before an early departure back on Saturday, March 30.
